Planned Parenthood affects women, men, and young adults by
providing information on abortion, cancer, birth control and sex education. Women
all over the world need healthcare and information on procedures to make an
informed and well thought out decision about their pregnancy and whether they
should terminate it or carry the fetus to term. Since Planned Parenthood is
essential to women and men there have
been many arguments to make or break this case. Some argue in favor of
"pro-life" which could mean death to the mother if the birth would
kill her. Some argue in favor of "pro-choice" in which the woman is
in control of her body and her decisions. I found it very interesting that there
is a new alternative to planned parenthood now available called "The Source For Women."
This is very crucial to watch and listen on news channels
and to gather information on this topic. This new institution is located in a
poverty-stricken area and, as poverty includes, a very uninformed area of
people. Women in this area will come in seeking help and find "The Source
For Women."
One argument the women propose according to that article is
the makers of condoms and birthcontrol create purposely faulty. This must be
why condoms are only 99% effective. Would you consider it bad business to sell a
product that guarantees something it can't provide? What are your thoughts on
whether Planned Parenthood should be defunded, or not? Will this Source for Women be sufficient for women in poor neighborhoods?
